Notes: Renamed in 1963 following a merger between the United Society of Boilermakers, Shipbuilders and Structural Workers, the Associated Blacksmiths, Forge and Smithy Workers' Society and the Shipconstructors and Shipwrights' Association. In 1982 merged with the General and Municipal Workers' Union (GMWU) to form the General, Municipal, Boilermakers and Allied Trades Union.
